The Role
As a Hardware Tester at the Development Unit, you will work with hardware verification and validation within Milk extraction and Clusters, Liners and Tubes. You will work with planning, coordinating, performing, follow up and report test results. In the role as Hardware Tester, you will work with both standard and experimental testing in DeLaval 's lab facilities. You will also work with striving to improve ways of working and developing test methods. Some of the testing is performed in field at test farms in Sweden and abroad. You will also communicate with stakeholders and focus on maintaining a good communication and cooperation within the test team and DeLaval 's organization.
Some of your key responsibilities will be: Develop and write test methods.
Plan testing.
Build test rigs for lab testing.
Perform hardware testing on products both in lab and field.
Follow up tests.
Report failures and test results.
Work with continuous test improvements.
You will report to the Validation and Verification Manager and the position is placed in Tumba.
As a Hardware tester you also need to see the bigger picture, comprehend, and act interface to other units within DeLaval. Your primary contacts will be Product Owners, Line managers, Project Managers and test team.

Is this you?
To be successful in this role we believe you have an engineering degree and several years of working experience of hardware testing; If you have experience in developing test methods and working with data analysis, we see that is a plus.
Fluent in English and intermediate in Swedish, both in speech and writing is mandatory.
In this recruitment, your personal attributes will be of great importance. We are looking for a structured, self-driven and good communicator with ability to communicate with both business and strategic stakeholders as well as with technical development teams. Furthermore, to be successful in this role we are looking for a team player who works well in a multinational set up.
