The role
Join our development team of ~20 dedicated people where your role is to drive the development and quality aspects of our hardware interfaces, both from a technical, and from a supplier relations point of view.
Our products integrate software developed in-house with electron microscopes and cameras from external suppliers. A key component for building a robust system is that the APIs exposed by our hardware suppliers are robust, well tested and suitable for our needs. It is also important to have a continuous, pro-active dialogue with our suppliers to ensure that future extensions of the APIs and the hardware align with Vironova's future goals for our products.
Today, we use APIs from three different hardware manufacturers and this will most likely grow in the future. In your role you will evolve our tools for automated testing of these APIs as well as channel the requirements set by future Vironova products into a fruitful dialogue with our hardware suppliers to optimize their coming API updates as well as hardware enhancements.
Our tools are so far developed using .Net technologies and the APIs are text or binary protocols over TCP/IP.
Qualifications
• At least 3 years development experience of systems involving both software and hardware.
• A drive to improve and automate all aspects of API/hardware testing.
• An open personality and an interest in creating/maintaining fruitful technical and development relations with our hardware suppliers.
• Experience from various technical environments.
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and in writing.
• You are already a resident in Sweden, Swedish, however, is not a mandatory requirement.
