hela Sverige We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in PCB design and circuit board development. Are you a creative electronic engineer with a broad interest in technology who likes to be involved in development projects, from idea to production?
Aros Electronics is a product company that delivers integrated solutions consisting of electric motors, mechanics, and control electronics to customers worldwide. Our customized solutions are developed at our office in Mölndal, where we have a modern production facility for electronics, with a high degree of automation. Our products are used in industrial automation, heavy vehicles, and textile machinery.
Your role
The role of Hardware Design Engineer involves designing electronic products intended for production in Aros' own manufacturing. You will work on PCB layout, and it is important to design the boards to be production friendly. The role involves working with schematic design, simulation work, and meeting customer specification requirements.
You will work on component dimensioning and be involved in testing and verification tasks. The projects are carried out in project form together with colleagues who possess deep expertise in Aros' core areas. Each new project is based on the technology platform managed by the department and adapted, as well as adding project-specific aspects. All projects are carried out in-house, but in close collaboration with Aros' customers' development departments. In this way, you will follow the outcome of your work all the way into practical application.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, we would like to see that you have a strong interest in electronics and some experience in circuit board design. You have knowledge of OrCAD or similar tools, both in terms of schematic drawing as well as layout work. You also have advantageous component knowledge and dimensioning experience, as well as experience in simulating your designs.
As a person, we hope you are curious about technology. You are creative and enjoy finding solutions to complex problems. You are humble and share your knowledge, as well as being able to listen to others input. We want you to take responsibility for your work and be analytical. Swedish spoken and written are preferred because many of our documents are in Swedish.
