The group Electrical and Electronics Implementation support within the Global Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department (GEEE) supports the operations with trouble shooting, fault tracing, hardware coordination, software coordination, project build add-ons, wiring harness/power cables making, viable electrical and electronics support for prototype builds/AE-activities etc. and supports the VTC brand with S/RTO solutions/designs (electrical).
We are now looking for an Hardware coordinator
Tasks and responsibilities:
The mission of the hardware coordinator is to support the different projects component ordering and follow-up of deliveries. A great part of the job is also to globally solve logistic matters. Some of the included responsibility in the role is:
Represent EEE (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) in vehicle/rig update meetings
Issue material requests for objects according to needs following the current processes
Support the hardware designers with material ordering & handling
Support during BOM-reviews
Support EEE test objects/rigs with material handling
Most of the practical work is performed in the back office systems of Volvo. The role includes involvement in the ongoing projects and affected forums and also includes the long term responsibility for the role and the related processes. It?s important to be well-organized and take responsibility for completing tasks according to agreements and expectations.

Qualifications and background:
Minimum education Bachelor of science or similar and/or equivalent experience
Computer experience (incl. MS Office)
Knowledge in KOLA, JENA/TOB, PROTUS, TDM, RAPID, GPS, RUMBA, COS, EDB is a merit
Experience from product development in the automotive business is a merit
General knowledge of our products is a merit
Experience in material handling processes is a merit
Good skills in English, verbally and written, is mandatory
