At Connectivity, we are leading the development of in-vehicle connectivity-based solutions for the whole Volvo Group. As a vital part of the functional growth in Electromobility and Automation, we implement end-to-end functions like Driver Coaching, I-See, Remote SW Download, Vehicle apps, and Geofencing. Due to our expansive phase, we are now looking for a Hardware Component Owner with excellent technical expertise who want to join our collaborative and passionate team. Additional responsibilities are:
Develop technical requirements of HW components
Handle and investigate returned components from the field.
Be part of the supplier selection.
Plan and support relevant HW tests both onsite and offsite.
Participate in improving HW test methodology.
Ensure supplier progress with technical follow up
Ensure that HW parts can be ordered and released in relevant production systems
Ensure regular communication and stakeholder interaction, e.g. with SW component owners, functional owners, system leaders and project managers.
Contribute to the future HW technology roadmap.
Contribute to harmonized documentation and process alignment.
Share knowledge with your colleagues and contribute to our communities of practice
Drive investigations on new technology

Requirements:
Master's degree in electronics/computer engineering or equivalent education
2-5 years documented experience in electronics design and/ or passive and active component requirements
Experience from telecom or automotive
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
