Tasks and responsibilities:
As a Project Leader you will be responsible for leading one or more software development projects, as well as providing release management for product release projects, with the intention to make sure your projects are carried out as smoothly as possible. The projects typically run from three months up to a few years. In your day-to-day work you will engage with skilled and experienced software engineers to drive the projects forward to completion. Your main areas of responsibility will be frequent and incremental planning together with your project teams, consolidating and upholding project plans, keeping things moving forward, and making sure projects are delivered according to goals and in time. This also requires close contact and collaboration with various stake holders, such as Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Lead Engineers. You will also contribute to improving project processes and project management tools. If you are interested, there can also be opportunities for more technical hands-on work related to the build and release processes.
Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:
For this position you should be able to demonstrate good understanding of software development tools and development practices.
We believe this experience comes from one or more of the following:
• University education in Systems Development, Software Engineering or similar
• Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Scrum Master, Product Owner or similar
• Previous experience as a Project Leader within software development
Must have:
• Project management experience, team leadership experience or similar
• Know-how and ability to plan and uphold project plans and deliver accordingly
• Fluent in Swedish and English, speech and writing
Merit:
• Good understanding of microprocessor architecture, embedded systems and hardware-oriented development
• Experience with DevOps, Cloud Platforms and Linux
