We are now looking for an IT Area Architect for our IT Finance & Accounting area. The role includes leading the architectural work strategically together with the Business Area Architects.
You will participate in operational discussions about how our future system will be designed. You will inspire and coach other architects in the area, and represent the area in different architecture forums. We offer a challenging and varied work in an organization where your development is as important as our business.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced leader. To be successful in this role you have strong communication skills with a natural ability to present the vision of all architecture within your area to all stakeholders. You have the ability to see the big picture, yet are able to perform analysis on more detailed levels.
H&M is a rapidly expanding company with several parallel ongoing initiatives with short time-to-market. Your responsibility will be affected daily by this and you will be leading the area pragmatically towards a long term future-proof target architecture.
The processes within Finance & Accounting are well integrated with H&M's other processes, which has daily effect on your area of responsibility. You will have a unique opportunity for a challenging role in a dynamic and fast growing environment!
Your responsibilities
As an IT Area Architect at H&M you have great responsibility and a lot of fun! Your role includes, among other things:
• Responsibility for driving the overall IT architecture issues in the area
• Ensure that the solutions meet business requirements and are in line with H&M's guidelines for architecture
• Inspire, coach and lead other architects
• Give architectural support in both projects and maintenance
• Actively participate in various architectural forums
• Monitor and understand trends and new technologies in the areas included in your delivery responsibility
Your skills
Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a social, open, communicative, sales-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. You have the ability to quickly adapt to new conditions and are self-motivated. Further, you have the following skills and experiences:
• Extensive experience within IT and software development and at least 3 years as an IT-architect responsible for a bigger organization or department
• Have the ability and interest to discuss and drive architectural issues on both enterprise and solution level with the big picture in mind and an eye for details
• Leadership qualities and ability to build and retain good working relationships
• Excellent communication skills being able to adapt to different IT- and business stakeholders
• Used to document IT-solutions from different perspectives
• Embrace new architectural theories and being able to practice them
• Good at expressing yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
It is a merit if you have experience within software development and ERP-solutions as well as procurement of IT-solutions.
