Within the Asset & Configuration Management function we have a team that focuses on having control over all IT Assets at H&M, throughout their lifecycle. This means having control over assets, such as hardware and software, from request and purchase to when they are retired, and also to have a life cycle perspective on the types and models of assets we have (i.e. the products and variants).
We believe this improves cost consciousness while at the same time making provisioning of software and hardware to users more efficient. It also reduces legal risks when using software, enables better security and helps getting control of our Green IT footprint.
This position involves being the driver for making this work in practice, and involves cooperation with product responsible, such as Service Delivery Managers, as well as Local IT organizations.
To fit the profile you need a general understanding of software and hardware products. We believe you enjoy structure and orderliness, and that you are service minded. You are able to think tactically and process oriented, but also good at sometimes performing operative and administrative tasks. You are used to drive and manage your own tasks, and are not afraid to take responsibility to make things happen. In your role you like to work with constant improvement, and enjoy doing practical things that make the whole IT business work better.
In addition to the Asset Lifecycle Manager role, this position also includes being a Team Leader for the Asset Lifecycle and Purchase team, and thereby a member of the management team of the Asset & Configuration Management function.
Your responsibilities
The job of an H&M Asset Lifecycle Manager comes with lots of responsibility and lots of fun. Your to do-list includes:
• Drive initiatives to improve process maturity of Asset Lifecycle Management processes across H&M IT, in cooperation with process owner
• Drive implementation and follow-up of asset life cycle management, for all types of IT components H&M regards as assets (primarily hardware and software)
• Advice, educate and help Product Responsible in the IT organization to establish product life cycle management within their product area
• Be an expert in tool support (ServiceNow) and way of working, for assets and life cycle management
• Analyze and perform reporting on asset and product status
• Plan and lead daily work and priorities in the team
Your skills

• Good at analyzing and understanding complex structures and processes
• Several years of experience from the IT business
• General understanding of software and hardware products
• Process-oriented mind-set
• Experience in leading small projects and/or teams
• Leadership and communication skills.
• You're confident in yourself, have leadership qualities and good communication skills
• Good knowledge in Swedish and English in speech and writing
Experience of Asset Management and ITIL is a merit
