hela Sverige This position reports to the Corporate Vice President of Finance, supports the local Managing Director, works closely with Project Managers and other Corporate Controllers. The position is based out of our Swedish office in Växjö with a requirement for an annual visit to the head office in Canada.
What You'll Do
Gyptech is seeking an Corporate Controller within the Global Finance team. Your role will involve:
• Preparing and recording all financial transactions (A/R, A/P, Payroll, General Ledger, Project Accounting)
• Treasury management
• VAT and taxation compliance in various European jurisdictions
• Transfer pricing and intercompany transactions
• Preparing timely monthly financial statements
• Preparing for and managing the annual audit
• Providing financial leadership to support budgeting, costing and financial performance
• Providing reports and analysis to support the consolidation function in Canada
What You Offer
• A relevant work experience from the accounting area of 7-15 years.
• An adequate education from university.
• A variety of management experiences that will assist in providing financial & business advice
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
• Ability to adapt to changes in pace from fast to slow depending on customer demand and meet deadlines under changing conditions
Gyptech has expertise in providing the complete engineering design, equipment supply, project and construction management, commissioning, and technical services for new gypsum plants or upgrades to existing facilities. Projects involve any or all of these aspects and may be provided on a partial or complete turnkey basis. More about us:
