The Company seeks for a Business Development Engineer to Stockholm Office, who will take an active role in Business Development and assist Bid Preparation processes for a wide variety of infrastructural projects such as highway, railway and tunneling projects across Sweden and Scandinavian Countries.
Main Responsibilities:
• Searching for Construction Companies and Suppliers in the region for cooperation possibilities
• Following/Reporting new large scale infrastructural projects in Sweden
• Setting up long term relationships with the Local Authorities/Local Companies in Sweden
• Following up sector related events in Sweden such as Supplier Days, Conferences, Business meetings; informing Country Manager accordingly and representing the company in these events.
• Review of tender documentation, highlighting/reporting the significant parts, performing a clear understanding and presentation of client requirements
• Assisting tender preparation team by getting in contact with local companies, subcontractors and suppliers, asking/collecting offers.
• Market Research and Administrative support to the staff for local needs
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MBA or master's degree is a plus
• English and Swedish (as a native) in full professional proficiency
• Background in Engineering with min. 2 years of working experience in Sweden (preferably in construction companies)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work within a multi-cultural team.
• Experience of building good working relationships across all stakeholders
• Ability to complete several tasks together and meet up with deadlines
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and be self-motivated
