For our Swedish Branch Office, we are looking for an experienced Technical (Engineering) Manager working in the following areas and responsibilities.
Roles/Responsibilities:
• Acting as technical (engineering) manager in new tenders and ongoing projects in Sweden esp. for large scale infrastructural projects (Metro/Railway/Motorway/Tunnel etc.)
• During tender stage:
o Working closely with the Tendering department for the preparation of tenders
o Providing technical review for tender documents (technical specifications, tender design etc.)
o WBS setup and BOQ preparation and coordination for Design/Built and Built only projects
o Proposing temporary traffic solutions/arrangements
o Defining critical areas and proposing relevant engineering solutions for the tenders by considering market practices and costs
o Preparation of technical parts of soft value (added value) reports
• Ongoing Projects:
o Providing Technical support and Engineering solutions to the project site offices
o Coordination of Execution Design/As Built /BIM Models prepared by local design offices
Requirements:
• Engineering Degree in Civil or Geological Engineering
• Minimum 10 years experience in Structural Design, Design Coordination and Review
• Wide Knowledge and Experience in design of;
o Underground Stations,
o Special foundations,
o Retaining structures (Diaphragm Walls/Piling Works etc..),
o Cut and Cover Structures (Open Cut/Top Down),
o Tunnels (Drill&Blast/Natm and TBM),
o Grouting Works,
o Waterproofing Works,
o Trackwork Substructures
• Knowledge of BIM applications in infrastructural projects
• Experienced in Tender Preparation
• Technical proficiency in the management of design for Design-Build Projects for large infrastructural projects
• Experienced and skilled in Structural Design and project planning softwares in 2D and 3D
• Professional Proficiency in English and/or Swedish
