We are looking for a talented GUI SW engineer to our product development department within the chronic business unit in Lund Sweden. We develop SW for our dialysis machines and we offer stimulating and challenging tasks in an international environment.
Job description
As a GUI SW engineer at Gambro you will have the opportunity to work in new development projects as well as in product maintenance projects. You will be a member of a dedicated team of experienced SW engineers working in close collaboration with Engineering (HW) and Verification departments.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Design and implementation of the graphical user interface for a new dialysis machine. You will work in an embedded Windows environment, programming C# in and using the .Net framework.
• Design of unit test for your implementation using a modern unit test framework. Your unit tests will be integrated in our continuous integration environment and automatically executed when you commit your source code to our CM repository.
• Requirements documentation using state of the art requirement management tools.
Qualifications
We are looking for a SW engineer with a Master?s degree in Computer Science Engineering or similar and a couple of year?s professional experience in SW development using the .NET framework. Previous experience in graphical user interface development is of course also positive. However with the right background and mindset newly graduated engineers could also be of interest.
We believe you have experience in:
• .Net 3.5 or higher
• Silverlight WPF programming
• C# and C programming
As a person you have a great technical interest. You are a team player and like working in teams as well as individually with a lot of drive and commitment. You have good communication skills in spoken and written English, and the ability to discuss with stakeholders outside the development department such as customer support and clinical education. You work in a structured, analytical and creative way and have an eagerness to solve problems.
