As a Group Sustainability Controller, you will play a crucial role in driving our sustainability agenda forward and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations. The role will report to the Head of Group Reporting & Accounting Principles within Group Finance and will work in close collaboration with Group Sustainability. The key responsibilities within sustainability are specified below but as part of the Group Reporting & Accounting Principles team you will also be involved in and work together with the team in a broader perspective with financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sustainability Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the Group 's strategic initiatives in the area of sustainability with analysis and decision support. Contribute to the establishment of sustainability goals aligned with our vision and values.
* Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with the latest sustainability reporting regulations and standards, particularly the new EU legislation CSRD. Apply your expertise to assess the impact of these regulations on Saab and drive compliance initiatives.
* Reporting and Analysis: Preparation and quality assurance of sustainability reports, ensuring accurate and transparent disclosure of relevant information. Analyze sustainability data, identify trends, and provide insights to guide decision-making.
* Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sustainability performance across various areas and functions. Monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and support Group Sustainability in developing strategy and ways of working.
* Stakeholder Engagement: In coordination with Group Sustainability engage and communicate with stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives and foster collaboration.
Requirements:
* Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar.
* At least 5 years working experience from group financial reporting in a listed company and/ or experience from a large audit firm.
* Knowledge of sustainability reporting regulations and frameworks.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities as well as being a strong team player.
* Fluent in Swedish and English
