The Group is one of Europe’s leading players in innovative and cost-efficient packaging solutions based on polyethylene and polypropylene film. In 2018 Trioplast was acquired by the Private Equity company Altor. Altor's business model is to buy and develop medium-sized Scandinavian companies, always by improving how companies operate and usually by ambitious growth targets. Altor sees great potential in Trioplast, both to improve its current operations and to expand the business. The goal is to double Trioplast's turnover and margin within six years. Growth will come both organically and through acquisitions.
In procurement, we have prepared ourselves for growth by initiating a purchasing program, to establish a competitive cost level. In parallel we have also strengthened the Group Sourcing organization with dedicated Category Managers. Now we are looking for one Category Managers for MRO (supply and services for maintenance, repairs and operations). This role will be placed at one of our production facilities.
The role of a Category Manager in Trioplast is first and foremost to drive change. You will be the leader for the cross divisional team that works together to minimize the total cost for MRO. The tasks range from developing a strategy to implementing it and everything in between.
The Category Manager MRO reports to the CPO (Chief Procurement Officer)
Competence expectations
We are looking for you who has documented analytic skills, is communicative, has a strong drive to reach ambitious targets and are long-term and sustainable. A Category Manager works independent and we hope you are a team player who is attracted to change and project management in a commercial setting.
We also think that you have
• Academic education (3-5 years relevant college / university)
• 5+ years of experience from project management and improvement projects
• High level of commercial skills
• Purchasing experience and / or experience from consultancy work in change management is a strong merit
