What will you do?

As Group Retail Manager it will be your main mission to maximise the performance of our retail business, ensuring all key stakeholders are aligned and working collaboratively. This is a new role within an everchanging and developing business that will really push forward Stena Line's retail agenda for our vessels. You will belong to the Group Onboard Sales & Services (OSS) team, reporting to the Group Head of OSS and have an exciting strategic leadership role in developing our onboard customer experience.

Some of your key responsibilities:

• Ensure retail financial performance exceeds budget expectations in terms of rev/pax, GP and GP%.
• Conduct frequent ship visits and work closely with all key stakeholders to ensure KPI's and targets are met and all business development opportunities are maximized.
• Ensure a standardised , "One Company" approach is applied throughout whilst optimising performance, standards and the quality of customer service.
• Drive the development of a proactive sales culture to achieve business goals and objectives with regards to customer satisfaction.
• Measure performance and provide feedback and coordinate actions with the respective areas of the business.
• Ensure regular coordination meetings between key stakeholders to ensure good communication , decision making and transparency throughout.
• Ensure quality and consistency between what is offered and what is delivered, and a Stena Line standard overall in terms of service as well as the onboard retail environment.
• Use customer insights, root cause analytics and best practices to identify companywide improvements, develop plans and ensure implementation.
• Work with OSS Learning & Development Manager to provide group wide programs and content to enable people development and enhance performance.

The must-haves:

• Retail management experience gained ideally in a multi-site organization within the travel retail industry
• Experience working with multiple stake holders
• Strong communication skills
• Willing to travel on a regular basis
• Great computer skills
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
