The Process development and Manufacturing Engineering group at Volvo Technology Corporation, Gothenburg, Sweden, is looking for a new Group Manager.
The Process Development and Manufacturing Engineering group is a newly formed group that will act as expertise in the areas of:
Manufacturing engineering focusing areas like virtual manufacturing, manufacturing data management, factory optimization, production planning and operator environment.
Process management & development focusing areas like business management and lean manufacturing & product development
Knowledge Management and Knowledge Based Engineering
Position description:
As Group Manager you are responsible for defining the vision and strategy for the area of Process development and Manufacturing Engineering. You are also responsible for customer dialogues, project offerings and delivery of results. The project portfolio will include research, advanced engineering and product development projects. You will work to build a high performing team through continuous development of competence and methods. The group size is currently 15 employees. You will be a member of the departments? management team and actively contribute to the management and development of the department.

Qualifications:
Masters degree in engineering or equivalent
Managerial experience (preferably within R&D)
Experience from manufacturing and process development
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in English is required
