Background
Scania Supply Chain Networks, OI, is a function within Scania Logistics. Our ambition is to become the leader within sustainable logistics and our mission is to globally develop, manage and optimize our logistical flows by building flows with minimal environmental impact, high quality and minimal total logistic cost.

Supply Chain Development, OIS, is a department within Supply Chain Networks and the mission is to continuously maintain, develop and challenge our supply chain, from suppliers to Scania, creating solutions that add business value and contribute to Scania 's result. We proactively, jointly and systematically create supply chain conditions and implement solutions for a cost efficient, reliable and sustainable business.

Job description
The current manager for OISC, Network and Supply development is taking up another position within our organization. The team consists of nine supply chain developers that play an important role in developing the Inbound Transport Network and our processes for Transport & Material Control. The team cross-functionally lead or participate in different logistics improvement projects with the purpose to support Scania's future strategies and goals. In your role as manager for this team you will have high focus on Scania's sustainability journey and key to succeed the challenging targets will be optimization and collaboration, both internally and externally. Our digitalization journey is an enabler for reaching the long term targets and it will be central in developing the inbound network and processes.

As manager for OISC you belong to my management team where you actively contribute with your skills, your personality and where you also have the opportunity to grow, collaborate and develop yourself. You will have a central role both forming and deciding upon the development projects that are to be implemented. We offer a job in an international environment with multiple contact surfaces, both internally and externally. Logistics has an impact on almost all of Scania 's core processes and you will be a key player when it comes to shaping the future of Scania 's logistics strategy.

Your profile
We believe that you have a University degree within logistics or similar. Work experience within supply chain development or business development is required, as well as knowledge and proven leadership skills. You have a driven and open personality and can easily see the big picture and identify new opportunities. You need to be structured, communicative and have a talent for connecting with new people in this position. You also need to feel confident and adaptable to cooperate in a multicultural environment. You will work in an international environment that requires fluency in spoken and written English.
