hela Sverige We have created a new group for Verification at OBT and we are now looking for a manager for this team!
The team is responsible for the E2E verification of our systems and functions. These are mainly built up by the TGW (telematics gateway) and the SEM (service and entertainment module).
Position Summary
The mission for the group manager for Verification at On-board Telematics is to
• Verify our products towards the requirements
• Take an active part in defining global strategies and roadmaps within the area
• Secure the implementation of global strategies and roadmaps for these areas through AE and projects
• Deliver verified products to the projects
• Lead and continuously develop the people in the group to deliver according to committed deliveries and to achieve the objectives stated in the strategic action plan
• Lead and continuously develop the processes, methods and tools that are used by the group to deliver according to committed deliveries and to achieve the objectives stated in the strategic action plan
The main responsibilities are:
• Secure that our products are verified in line with applicable strategies according to stipulated processes, methods and tools
• Participate in relevant concept selections
• Monitor the efficiency of our verification processes and initiate actions if needed
• Provide skilled resources to our SCRUM and KANBAN teams
• Participate and contribute in retrospective meetings, sprint reviews, etc.
• Coach team members in the daily activities and secure necessary pre-requisites for a successful execution of responsibilities
• Coach the team members on their personal development
• Salary setting and all other administrative activities belonging to group members
• Regular communication to the team on performance, strategies and operations
• Break down business plan activities and allocate activities to direct reports
• Secure competence development strategy and coach the team members on their personal development
• Secure knowledge sharing globally
• Be globally responsible to develop processes, methods, tools and standards related to E2E and verification
• Follow up and track operations by means of KPIs and PIs
• Actively participate in developing the working environment at the site
• Take an active role in moving OBT into an agile development organization with continuous integration
• Support and coach our product owners and backlog owners
• Be responsible globally for the tool chain used for E2E verification
We believe this is a position for a person that has the ability to work under demanding conditions and to create a successful working climate in these situations. As a person, you have a broad know how in SW verification combined with very good people skills and a strong belief in agile methods and tools. You have a strong ability to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teams.

The following qualifications are required:
• Master of Science in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Managerial experience from line or project management
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience from SW verification in truck or car industry
• High competence in product development working process DVP
• Experience of agile methods, such as SCRUM and KANBAN
• High knowledge in automated testing and continuous integration
