Therefore at Connectivity, within Volvo Group Trucks Technology, we have exciting opportunities to shape the future by providing innovative solutions and services that generate added value to our customers. We are now seeking a Group Manager for Verification Framework & Integration, a leader who sees people development as a key factor in the success of our operations and who has a broad technical know-how.
The overall mission of the group Verification Framework & Integration is twofold: to establish a verification framework that enables continuous delivery, thus reducing lead time-to-market and increasing product quality; and to provide a CI (Continuous Integration) platform for the operations and integration of all internally-developed software.
What you will do
The main task as Group Manager is to lead the team and deliver in accordance with the mission and goals of the group.
Key responsibilities include coaching and developing the people in the group as well as securing that they have the skills and competences needed for the job. You will break down business objectives and accordingly define and execute strategies for the group, thus setting its direction. You will prioritize activities in the scope of the group and allocate work tasks to direct reports. Together with colleagues from different organizations, you will define global technology strategies and roadmaps within the area. You will also be key player in creating an inspiring work climate.
In this position you will report to the Global Technology Manager of Systems & Verification and you will also be part of its corresponding Management Team.

We expect that you have managerial experience, in project or line management positions, at least five years. Experience from the automotive industry, with center of gravity in system and embedded software development, is considered as a great asset. You have experience and good knowledge of agile software development methodologies, with ability to further develop yourself. Experience and knowledge in areas within scope of the group are regarded as advantageous qualifications.
Applicants shall have a M.Sc. degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or similar.
