Do you want to be challenged by leading people in the middle of a technical and organizational shift? Do you want to be part of making sure that we use our common strengths within Traton to develop world-leading functions and systems?
At Powertrain Component Controls, ENEC, we develop control systems for our Traton electrical powertrains and conventional gearboxes. This means that we are working with software as our main tool to reach our desired powertrain and vehicle properties. We take a big role in making sure we develop the right functions for the Traton group and strive to do this in an agile and efficient way.
We are looking for a manager responsible for the group VCT Propulsion Control Systems. This group consists of Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, and Flow initiative leaders for the propulsion control systems VCTs. The group is responsible for making sure we have roadmaps, and backlogs and that we have a way of working within our flows to deliver on our promises.
The work is done in close collaboration with our partner brands within Traton which are part of the same VCTs, meaning a lot of synchronization of planning and activities needs to be handled.
We have a very exciting time ahead of us with making sure Traton can deliver our common propulsion control systems to all brands within the TEESA and TMS projects. We are also a driving force within the agile transformation and strive towards having a way of working so that we can do this across all sites.
The group consists of 7 engineers with leading roles within the VCTs Longitudinal Dynamic Control and Propulsion SW Systems.

You will be leading a group with senior employees and your role is to make sure they have the necessary pre-requisites to get the flow of functionality and SW as efficient as possible. You support your team members in making the right technical decisions and finding the right way forward in all questions. You will be responsible for your team members development plan and make sure that they always love to go to work and deliver at their best.
Commitment and participation in the section management team is a vital part of your tasks. The focus for you and within the management team will be on leading the section in the journey of change towards both a more agile way of working in an international environment as well as making sure we deliver the promised solutions as a whole.
Your profile
• We believe you are an engineer with a background in SW, mechatronics, or electrical systems development and you have experience of leading people in a managerial role or similar.
• You have a lot of enthusiasm and have the ability to see people's capabilities and establish trust.
• To succeed in this position you need to be communicative, show grit and be energized by challenges in working in an international setting.
• We are looking for a team player with a can-do mentality combined with a structured way of working.
We offer
We can offer you a dynamic workplace with varied and challenging work assignments in a hybrid working setup, which means that you will be able to work from home some days a week if the work permits. We can also offer other benefits such as free training at Scania's health Carl, Gröndal or wellness allowance, performance bonus, occupational pension, flexible working hours, lunch at a reduced price, the opportunity for a staff car and much more.
