The world of transport and logistics is rapidly transforming into a sustainable ecosystem and at Scania we are facing the biggest shift in our history. Our target is to take a leading role by introducing new tailor-made products, services and sustainable transport solutions. Besides a whole new product range this will change the way we do business and interact with our customers.
You will be the group manager of a development team working with digital services aiming to improve driver behaviour. The purpose is to consume less fuel to save money and to make transportation more sustainable and safer. We do this by using data collected from our global fleet of vehicles. We deliver the Driver evaluation service to our customers through our My Scania portal.
Some of your daily work will include:
• Creating a team climate where innovation is a given factor and where our new ways of working can develop and continuously improve.
• Participate in team activities
• Driving the product forward in every aspect, understanding the customer's needs within the area and delivery world class service with unquestioned quality.
• Empower, engage and develop your co-workers and team.
• Work together with the other group managers to foster collaboration and a good engineering culture.
Your profile
You strive to improve your way of leading yourself and others. As a leader you communicate expectations and know that feedback is crucial in driving the development of both team and individual. You are a good coach for people and can adapt your leadership skills to different situations.
You have a deep understanding of the agile manifesto and what it truly stands for. You setup teams with diversity to maximize their value. You can coach and lead teams in their journey to continuously improve and reach new insights of their and your own abilities.
You have a University degree and have worked for at least three years with software development. Either you have lead a development team where you now feel ready to take the next step, or you have already worked as a group manager and looking forward to new challenge.
