System Engineering is responsible for the top level design of the electrical system and we are now re-organising the section in order to further enhance our performance. The purpose of the re-organisation is to create new and determined groups with clear goals, as well as making these groups more equipped for the challenges and changes that lie ahead. Additionally, we aspire to have a high degree of collaboration between and within the groups, as we believe that job satisfaction and job efficacy only can be achieved by promoting a shared vision through collaborating team work.
As we move forward, we will stand in front of great changes and challenges in the future, both when it comes to technology (for instance, autonomous driving and electromobility) and in ways of working within SAFe (agile) setups. About the role
As a group manager, your overall responsibility is to assure that the people reporting to you have the means to do a good job. Naturally, this requires more than just offering a fair pay. Education, motivation, premises, equipment, targets, roles, budgets, organization, conflict resolution, performance enhancement, recruitment and finding contractors are all ultimately essential parts of your role.
The team ensures a consistent EE system based on specifications, descriptions and components. The team has a responsibility to control and maintain the main information model and process flow, defining the SW/HW system. Some of the important deliveries are the signal database, system release/baselines and product structure. A challenge going ahead is the creation of continuous integration on system level.
The group size is aimed at 14 engineers, whereof 10 are regular employees and 4 are contractors.

Qualifications
• Master of Science within engineering (e.g. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science), or comparable work experience.
• Worked as a group manager or have other leadership experience.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience from automotive development and embedded system development is a merit.
