hela Sverige The Styling & Vehicle Ergonomics section deals with issues concerning styling, vehicle ergonomics, HMI and design quality from a global perspective and at a detailed level in close cooperation with the relevant article owner functions. In order to further strengthen the section, the current Group Manager Styling is moving on to a newly created role as Technical Manager and so we are looking for someone who feels ready to take on Scania's most visually discernible job.
Your duties
You will join the section management team and will be the manager of the Styling group, which consists of 12 qualified employees and a varying number of consultants, thesis project students and interns. The group has a broad and deep range of expertise within physical styling, graphic design, colour & trim and VR visualisation.
You will be responsible for the further development of the artistic expression of the newly launched New Truck Generation and for development and industrialisation of future generations of products.
The challenges of continuing to deliver results at the highest international level are significant. In addition to internal networks, you will help to further develop our good relations with our colleagues within VW Truck & Bus, as well as universities nationally and internationally.
Your profile
You will be an industrial designer, preferably from within the vehicle industry with a number of years' experience as a manager. As a person, you are organised, a team player and would feel at home in both the management team and in your coaching leadership. This role requires you to be a very good communicator who can represent both your own group and Scania as a whole.
