Position Description
Prototype Purchasing & Procurement is a part of Product Builds HD EU within Complete Vehicle, Group Trucks Technology.
You will be in charge of prototype purchasing and procurement of parts, both standard parts and prototypes, supporting all builds in vehicle and powertrain projects up to C-phase. The team works in close cooperation with prototype suppliers, product development, purchasing, manufacturing and the two Project Builds groups within Product Builds HD EU.
Core responsibilities
You lead the daily operations in the team and ensure that deliveries are in accordance with targets for agreed KPI 's. A part of your job is to develop unique prototype suppliers through cooperation and challenges in order to achieve agreed QDC targets.
As leader you strive to maintain the good team spirit, cooperative atmosphere and proudness to deliver that exists in the team. You put energy in developing external cooperation with essential stakeholders like Product Development, Purchasing and project organizations.
One of your tasks will be to develop the individuals in the team and secure a good competence level.
You shall be an active member in the PB HD EU Management team and strive to work for the best of the whole section.

Essential skills and needed experience
MSc. degree in Business/Engineering OR long experience within similar position is seen as an advantage
Extensive purchasing and/or project experience
Preferably experience from the automotive industry
Strong business mindset
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
