Polestar is blazing a new trail, dedicating ourselves to the development and refinement of electric vehicle performance. Your experience in Electric Vehicle Engineering would be invaluable to us both in concept work and when working with current designs for increased customer satisfaction.

Your contribution
Mechanical Engineering Team, a part of the Polestar Propulsion Department, is a team with a mission to deliver results which exceed the customers' expectations. The team consists of technical experts, component owners, lead and design engineers. The area of responsibility stretches from high voltage components such as batteries, motors, inverts to vehicle integration and subframe development.
Your responsibilities will be
• Supporting and coaching team members to evolve and grow in their roles
• Support design work regarding Performance, Life Cycle, Efficiency, EMC, Thermal and Mechanical.
• System design and balancing requirements
• Input on technical solutions for concepts and running programs
• Technical sourcing of electric vehicle propulsion components
• Supplier and contractor evaluations
Essentially, keeping an eye on future electric vehicle propulsion will ensure that Polestar is striving for an exceptional customer experience within this area.
