Product Builds is a global organization preparing and delivering the prototype builds to Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT). We lead the cross functional work from an order received until the project build is delivered to the customer according to agreement, supported by a quick and effective logistic supply chain. Our skilled and engaged teams are located in Gothenburg, Lyon, Greensboro, Hagerstown, Curitiba, Bangalore and Ageo.

Position Description
Project Builds Vehicle is a part of Product Builds Heavy Duty Europe within Complete Vehicle in Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT).
We have the cross functional lead of the physical prototype builds supporting the Vehicle Projects.
We are 23 persons, divided in 3 teams with team leaders.
We work in close cooperation with different product development departments, manufacturing, GTT workshops and our prototype purchasing & procurement team.
We are continuously striving to develop the Product build organization in order to be leaner and more efficient in supporting vehicle and powertrain projects.
Core responsibilities
Lead the daily operations in the group in order to support product projects both with prototype vehicles- and rig-builds
Maintain a good team spirit with a cooperative atmosphere and proudness to deliver
Secure a good competence level within the group through development of individuals and recruitments
Maintain and develop good cooperation with essential internal stakeholders like product development
Active participation in the Product Builds Heavy Duty Europe Management team with an interest in the long term development of the entire section
Deliver according to agreed KPI 's and targets
Lead the group 's work with continuous improvement
Work in accordance with Volvo processes, the Code of Conduct and Volvo values

Essential skills and needed work experience
Experience of leading people
Experience from product development and/or project management
University degree in Engineering is seen as an advantage
Experience from automotive industry is an advantage
Fluent in English and Swedish both written and spoken
