The department Order to Delivery (O2D) IT is responsible for development and maintenance of IT systems within Scania's industrial system. The MES (Manufacturing Execution System) group responsibility is to deliver functionality to support Production and Logistics (P&L) and are also a key player when Scania takes the next step into Industry 4.0 and IoT. The group consists of 18 co-workers that supports Scania's production operations in Sweden, Europe and Brazil. Focus is on both global implementation projects and maintenance of our MES application APRISO. As the current manager will take on a new challenge in the organisation, we are now looking for a new person to take up these challenges.
Lead the development within the area of MES
As a forward thinking leader, you will join us in driving agile ways of working. You probably have knowledge within the fields of manufacturing, system development and cross functional implementation projects. You have experience from work all the way through the stack - you create the visions and lead the strategic work at the same time as you have the ability to understand the details of a challenging delivery.
Your profile
Our successful candidate are a natural leader with a passion and understanding of agile culture and ways of working. It is natural for you to create business plans and work proactively. Stakeholder management skills and understanding the business is absolutely crucial to succeed in this role. You also have the ability to formulate and implement strategies and you have courage and dare to try new ideas. You see creativity as a great way of working. You probably have an IT education and/or equivalent experience which has given you the ability to talk in terms of IT matters and understand the reality of the users and business critical deliveries. In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
