What will you be doing?
As the group manager of the Perception Software team, you will be leading innovation and learning towards building some of the most critical and challenging building blocks of the automated driving system.
Driving this product development is no one person job. We truly believe that cross-functional collaboration and putting our brilliant heads together is key. Therefore, you will work closely with a great team of highly skilled engineers and researchers within the Perception Software group and managers in neighboring areas such as Localization & Motion Planning and Sensors & Compute.
As our next leader you will also set the roadmap and objectives for the Perception Software group, lead the implementation and act as servant leader to get our teams there. You will ensure that engineering best practices are followed and continuously improved and that the quality of our deliveries is high. In addition, your task is to cultivate a strong safety culture in our product development.

As our business area is new you need to share our positive spirit, curiosity for new technology, new ways of working and want to take it to the next level.
We see that prior experience in production software development for complex software products is of importance for this role. The perception C++ software is designed to be robust, scalable, and optimized for low latency. You probably also have a general understanding of development of mechatronic systems and any experience in using sensor data and controlling mechanical actuators will be very useful. However, we believe your potential, personality, and mindset to gain these capabilities is more important than having them all today.
Our working environment is highly international, and hence you need to be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
