hela Sverige We are now hiring a group manager within Vision development at our Linköping office. In your role you will recruit, improve and build upon the existing team of highly competent engineers together with the Hardware Engineering management team. Consisting of group manager mechanics, Electronics, prototype and indus as well as department head.
As a group manager you are responsible for the development of both technology and personnel. You are expected to ensure the quality of your employees' working methods, performance and competence development. In your role you are responsible for a team of highly experienced optomechanics designers. The group is responsible for the design, testing and verification of Veoneer 's optics and sensor systems for the company 's different types of camera systems. The group has a closely cooperation with the production team with a strong focus on manufacturability high "yield" and low scrap. In this cutting-edge environment, you will also support customer projects in achieving their goals by ensuring the right competencies are available at the right time and encouraging productive problem solving as part of our culture. Duties also include budget and responsibility for the working environment. You are responsible for the development and improvement of the company 's development processes and company standards in the field and training in this area.
To succeed in the role, we prefer that you have
• Master of science degree or equivalent
• Long-term experience as a group manager or equivalent
• Experience in leading others as well as building and developing teams
• Experience in embedded sensor systems and volume production
• Design experience, customer and supplier contacts
• Experience within applied physics and optics
The position requires good leadership skills, that you are clear in your communication, have an analytical ability as well as the ability to make decisions. You are responsive and outgoing and maintain good relationships with people in your area. Experience from the automotive industry and work with safety-critical systems we see as a merit.
