Position Description
As a Group Manager, your main task is to lead the group and deliver measurements and feature work in start cost, maintenance and advanced engineering projects related to Noise, Vibration, Harshness (NVH) & Quality Impression (QI).
You are expected to drive change and development with the focus to create a group where we actively work to continuously improve, build knowledge and understand customer needs and usage regarding NVH & QI.
We want our group manager to see that the key to customer success is a passion for developing people, operations and products. We strongly believe this is necessary to meet future challenges that will contribute to Volvo Trucks' profitability, our environment and most of all our customers' success.
In this position you will be part of the Durability, Driver/Vehicle Productivity Management Team and report to the Section Manager - Durability & Driver/Vehicle Productivity.

Complete Vehicle contributes to deliver Products & Services to all Volvo Group brand customers. We are close to end customers, understanding their needs and behaviors. Our engaged teams have a holistic view of the entire truck and bring hands-on truck experience.
The group NVH & QI verifies and validates these customer features in projects that have an important focus on enhancement of driver productivity, quality and customer satisfaction. The NVH & QI features Interior Noise, Exterior Noise and Quality Impression are important to meet noise legislations and to strengthen our leading position on Volvo Heavy Duty Trucks around the globe.
The team's deliverables are technical reports from physical and virtual testing activities and definition of measurable customer requirements as well as feature status in projects based on these requirements.

Who are you?
You have experience from product development and you are known for your integrity and trust, customer focus and good communication skills. Preferably, you have experience from testing, calculations or feature work and leadership or management. You are also recognized for your interpersonal savvy. Academic degree within engineering and leadership experience is preferred.
