The world of transport and logistics is rapidly transforming into a sustainable ecosystem and at Scania we are facing the biggest shift in our history. Our target is to take a leading role by introducing new tailor-made products, services and sustainable transport solutions. Besides a whole new product range this will change the way we do business and interact with our customers.
You will be manager for our Mobile application group that develop our Scania Driver App and our mobile app solutions for Fleet optimizations. You are responsible for the team and the mobile development strategy. The team will create the mobile platform that enable us to achieve a Premium omni channel experience where mobile devices and even integrations towards our vehicle is key. This mobile experience is playing a central role into our digital eco-system where our users do their daily work.
Some of your daily work will include:
• Creating a team climate where innovation is a given factor and where our new ways of working can develop and continuously improve.
• Participate in team activities
• Driving the product forward in close collaboration with the team, understanding the customer's needs within the area and delivery world class service with unquestioned quality.
• Empower, engage and develop your co-workers and team.
• Work together with the other group managers to foster collaboration and a good engineering culture.
We are offering a flexible work environment with the possibility to work at least part-time from home. You will also have the possibility to work from Scania's newly opened hub downtown Stockholm.
Your profile
You have a background and solid knowledge in mobile application development. You understand the technologies that are in use and can guide your team on a technical level. You also know how to scale development into multiple development teams to gain speed but still hold the architecture together.
You strive to improve your way of leading yourself and others. As a leader you communicate expectations and know that feedback is crucial in driving the development of both team and individual. You are a good coach for people and can adapt your leadership skills to different situations.
You have a deep understanding of the agile manifesto and what it truly stands for. You setup teams with diversity to maximize their value. You can coach and lead teams in their journey to continuously improve and reach new insights of their and your own abilities.
