Group Trucks Operations
The department of Manufacturing Solution is responsible to develop and implement new technologies as well as execute the Cab Product Process development. We support our factories requests and needs at Volvo in Europe and actively support the same activity for Renault, Volvo North America, and Mack.
The organization consists of engineers covering all the technical areas of BIC and Final assembly processes. We are now looking for a Manager Manufacturing solution
You will lead a team responsible for development of manufacturing technology solutions for Volvo HD and common areas with Renault HD. Provide technology roadmap, define best practice, and support plants with specialist competence covering Cab Trim and final assembly process and its equipment.
Purpose of the role
As a manager you lead the team development in cooperation with the other teams in Manufacturing Solution flow.
From a business perspective and needs, drive the team to develop technology solutions and install at first site.
Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers
As a manager you will collaborate with highly talented teams, drive Global networks and develop technical solutions within GTO. The development will be carried out in close cooperation with GTO Plants, SD&I, Business office and GTT Engineering.
Responsibilities/Main tasks
Ensure team/individual safety following company rules and regulations.
Follow up wellbeing on a regular basis.
Lead the team of Specialists, Manufacturing Technology Manager's (MTM's), Manufacturing Technology Specialist's (MTS's) located in Sweden, Belgium, France and India.
Secure global network development for MTM's together with specialists within GTO.
As part of the management team develop the Manufacturing solution mission.
Support the operational areas when critical issues are faced.

Strong customer focus
Experience from production manufacturing process, Engineering and good knowledge of the automotive industry
University Degree from relevant areas such as Engineering or relevant industrial experience

Change management is an important skill, with the ability to motivate and coach individuals to deliver outside their comfort zones. Both product and manufacturing experience is valuable, as well as understanding Lean production and Agile methods We are a truly global team with colleagues all over the world. So, it's important for us that you feel comfortable speaking English and have the willingness and possibility to travel to be inspired and get the chance to meet the global networks face to face.
