This position is organized within Aftermarket Technology (AMT), Complete Vehicle, site Gothenburg.
We are now looking for a key player who will lead our Powertrain Maintainability Engineering Team. The team consists of highly skilled Maintainability Engineers. Together with the Aftermarket community, you will be a part of building a strong team maximizing the Aftermarket perspective in Product development and securing the aftermarket business for the future. Key focus is to deliver the vision for the future and knowing our products competitiveness in the market.
In this role you will also be part of leading the change journey for our new way of working, inside AMT as well as with our closest stakeholders. You will also take on a global AMT role in leading and building knowledge at AMT in the Maintainability areas, with a continuous improvement mindset. Apply here!
What you will do
Your mission is to lead the Aftermarket Technology Vehicle Maintainability Engineering team so they can deliver a Truck that is easy to maintain, diagnose and repair. This by influencing the new products, utilizing cross functional strategies before and during the development phases. You will be responsible for Heavy Duty Product Range and the competitiveness in the market, concerning the Maintainability and Vehicle Related Services. You will also be part of the Aftermarket Technology site Gothenburg management team and also actively participate in Maintainability Committee, Technology Area Meetings and AMT Reference Group.

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in technology development within Automotive industry
Previous management with direct supervisory experience
Knowledge of the overall Aftermarket business fundamentals, customer needs and key players in the transportation industry.
Experience in vehicles development, vehicles product know-how and platform development.
Good understanding of the Aftermarket Technology Products
We also see that you have experience in vehicles development, vehicles product know-how and platform development. We prefer that you have experience from product development and automotive aftermarket domain.
We believe you have good people skills and strong ability to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teams. To succeed in this position, it is important with strong customer focus and to drive for result.
