Group Manager for group Lower Front
Cab Gothenburg develop new and advanced cabs for our future trucks, while continually adapting our current products to different market demands. The development is done with our customers in focus and in a positive and open-minded atmosphere.
Our cab culture is important for us and consist of key words as; fun, respect, teamwork, cab family and commitment.
The group is responsible for the full product life cycle of the Lower Front area. This includes bumpers, crash structure, spoilers, lower grill, footsteps, accessories and installation of electrical components e.g. sensors. In actions this means develop product roadmaps for the area, planning and development of engineering solutions globally and cross functionally in cooperation with other Volvo GTT engineering offices.
As a manager within Cab Engineering, you are expected to:

Have a structured way of working, handling information and follow up.
Support Agile at GTT way of working

Contribute to the development of Cab GOT and have a holistic view as member of Cab management team
You will be responsible for both staff, budget, and the technical development within your area.
Qualifications:
As our preferred candidate you are a MSc engineer, with good knowledge of the product development process. It is important that you have a positive mindset and are interested in developing people as well as technology. You are also expected to have at least 5 years of experience from the automotive industry. Earlier management experience is a merit. You should possess solid English skills.
