Battery Production is building Modules and Battery Packs for a dedicated and sustainable future!
The electrification trend in the automotive industry is moving fast. For us, this means that we need to prepare to increase the production of electric vehicles and help Scania become more sustainable. An important component of an electric vehicle is the battery.
The first battery production in Sweden has just been inaugurated and during the fall serial production of the first battery packs in our highly automated production has started.
Battery production is also at the forefront of diversity and inclusion. In the logistics management team, we currently have several nationalities and are as many men as women.
Who we are
Logistics consists of several, functions; production planning, material planning, material handling, logistics development, and logistics technology.
We are supporting the flow of material to produce Modules, Battery packs, and Electrical cable harnesses which are the key components for our electrical vehicles. Our material handling process is equipped with a lot of automatized equipment regarding production and Logistics as well as automatic storage and AGV.
We are a great team with various backgrounds, experiences, competencies, and nationalities. We have an open and inclusive climate where everyone's opinion is asked and appreciated.
What we offer
We offer a leadership and technically inspiring assignment as a Group Manager Logistics in a very dynamic and forward-thinking environment. You will be a part of the Material handling team with 15 team members working with you.
You will lead a team that cares about teamwork and work closely together supporting each other. We are strongly interconnected in our processes and we need to have a common picture of where we are and where we are going. We come from different backgrounds and experiences, bringing different perspectives and points of view to our challenges.
