Group Manager, Learning Coordination (HCAB)

Our task at Scania Academy is to drive and support the competence development in all business areas. Not only by providing a high-class training portfolio and organisation, but also through methods for on-the-job learning and usage of new tools and channels.

We are looking for you who, as part of the Extended Management Team, want to play a key role in the journey of taking Scania Academy into the future.

Mission
The Learning Coordination function sets a base for everything we do at Academy by working with our delivery infrastructure and content strategy. As our new group manager you will guide and support your team to develop innovative and cost efficient solutions and services to maximize business value.

You will be a leader of a team that:

• Plan, organize, coordinate and administrate delivery of trainings and learning activities in cooperation with course owners (During the year 2018 approximately 70 000 students attending physical trainings, and 300 000 digital learning activities)
• Support and educate in the use of our Learning Management System (My Compass)
• Maintain and update the course catalogue

The group consist of seven employees, and as the manager one of your most important tasks is to develop these employees and give your team the conditions to develop and grow.

We expect that you...

• are a pragmatic person with a burning interest for competence and a strong belief that developing our people is a key success factor for Scania
• will be an active member in the sections management group, where we together lead and develop strategies for the section
• will motivate, engage and develop your team-members
• have solid leadership qualities, appreciate a hands-on approach and can take initiatives
• can move between strategic and operational questions
• have experience of change management
• have an open communication style; enabling us to keep a close dialogue with our customers
