IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania's success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
The organisational environment
The work environment at Scania's IT department is international and our employees are representing many different nationalities and countries. The IT Security Architecture group aims to deliver security advisory and security reviews to all internal customers, enabling Scania's colleagues globally to be creative, productive and collaborative in creating new IT solutions.
The IT Security Architecture group is a part of Information Security section. It consists of 5 groups with about 50 persons in total. The group that you would be responsible for - IT Security Architecture - has the purpose to provide secure advisory and security review of all Scania's business crucial IT services.
The team and the mission
As a Group Manager you will lead and support one of our teams - IT Security Architecture which is part of the Information Security section.
The team consists of 6 highly skilled co-workers who are helping business with security advisory and reviews of IT infrastructure / systems / applications, with a great emphasis on communication both internally and towards business.
The team reviews technical solutions through interaction with different stakeholders and ensure that bought and designed solutions are successfully implemented with proper security in mind. The team also work with guardrails and define what security aspects are needed.

You ensure your team 's ability by developing a self-organized team through coaching, mentoring, and feedback. Most of the team members have been working together for a long time, have long experience and are highly skilled in what they are doing.
Your mindset & skills
You bring enthusiasm and have the ability to see people and their possibilities. You will also create preconditions for the team and enable our customer's to develop, innovative and cost efficient solutions and services with security in mind. It is natural for you to plan together with your organisation and work on that with a clear focus. Furthermore, you have the courage to challenge existing ways of working and being creative in how you test these ideas. We also believe you;
• Previous leadership experience and specifically skilled in IT security architectural field is meriting, preferably in a large global organisation.
• Are a natural servant leader with a passion and understanding of agile culture.
• Are experienced in leading people through change and something you find both inspiring and rewarding.
• Encourage the team to sharing knowledge and experience
• Are passionate about securing business uptime, and have good skills in stakeholder communication both in Swedish and English.
