Therefore at Vehicle Connectivity, within Volvo Group Trucks Technology, we have exciting opportunities to shape the future by proving innovative solutions and products that generate added value to our customers. We are now seeking a Group Manager for Integration & Tools, a leader who sees people development as a key factor in the success of our operations and who has a broad technical know-how.

The overall mission of the group Integration & Tools is to establish an integration and verification environment that enables continuous integration, thus reducing lead time and increasing product quality. The group is responsible for the continuous integration of all internally-developed software and the tool chain.

What you will do

The main task as Group Manager is to lead the team and deliver in accordance to the mission and goals of the group.

Key responsibilities include coaching and developing the people in the group as well as securing that they have the skills and competences needed for the job. You will break down business objectives and accordingly define and execute strategies for the group, thus setting its direction. You will prioritize activities in the scope of the group and allocate work tasks to direct reports. Together with colleagues from different organizations, you will define global technology strategies and roadmaps within the area. You will also be key player in creating an inspiring work climate.

In this position you will report to the Director of Systems, Function & Verification and you will also be part of its corresponding Management Team.

Applicants shall have a M.Sc. degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or similar.

We expect that you have managerial experience, in project or line management positions, at least five years. Experience from the automotive industry in the development of electrical and electronic systems is considered as a great asset. You have experience and good knowledge of agile software development methodologies, with ability to further develop yourself.

Applicants shall have a M.Sc. degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or similar.
