To enable the shift Scania must become a truly digital company and be at the forefront of Industry 4.0 development. Order to Delivery IT is the IT enabler for Scania Production & Logistics by delivering robust IT services and at the same time inventing and implementing the new IT landscape.
To this exciting challenge, we are now looking for a leader who can head our deliveries of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) with an End to End focus. Together with your teams of highly skilled Developers, Architects & Scrum Masters you take on the challenge to drive the MES deliveries in two of our value streams for manufacturing.
The mission for you and your teams is to lead the MES delivery roadmap and make sure it fit in our overall landscape transformation. The strategic challenge is to enable long-term value from our DELMIA APRISO based platform. You understand how to take full advantage of a digital platform with a wide range of capabilities and are curious to find out how it can be the backbone in an information centric IT landscape. Job content
As the manager for MES delivery, you will lead several teams working in two value streams across Scania globally. Together with your teams you will collaborate with other technology groups and develop methods, standards and guardrails to become better every day. You will be part of a section management team where we mix operational topics with leadership, team work and cultural development with the purpose of being the best possible support for our teams and co-workers.
Tasks that will be part of your daily job;
• You and your team work every day to create an attractive workplace and an inclusive culture.
• Motivate, engage and develop your team to stimulate learning
• MES deliveries in your domain with an end-to-end focus
• Work in close cooperation with MES Center of Excellence group
• Work in close cooperation with other managers within the same Value Streams to support all included teams.
• Work with our service provider partners to make sure Scania gets the full value from partnerships.
• General management responsibilities such as budgeting and recruitment
Your profile
We believe you lead servants, have a mindset to understand people, and know that the strength and creativity that exist in the organization will be crucial to reaching desired results. We think that you have good skills to build relationships, knowledge about the manufacturing business the courage to set challenging goals together with your teams.
You have an IT education and relevant experience from implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems, software delivery at scale or working with IT deliveries for a manufacturing business is meriting.
In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
