Electrical & Electronics Engineering is a global department within Vehicle Engineering, responsible for developing the Electrical System to all truck brands within the Volvo Group. Located at four different sites globally, we are now looking for a group manager for the Electrical Component team in the Gothenburg office. As the group manager for the Electrical Component team in Gothenburg you will lead an enthusiastic team of approximate 12 engineers to develop and maintain solution in domain of power management, HMI controls, wiring components and sensors.
In this position you will be reporting to the GTM for Electrical Components.

On the product perspective you take product ownership for Electrical Components GTA technical area products. Securing that the products are developed and maintained in line with applicable technology strategies and according to processes, methods and tools.
The following qualifications are required:
• Master of Science in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5-10 years experience from product development in truck or car industry within the area of electrical and electronics
• High competence in automotive product development process
• Since the role will interact in an international environment, being fluent in both spoken and written English is something we require, and experience from managing global tasks is a plus
