Volvo Buses is now seeking an experienced Group Manager for Electrical and Electronic Components, Chassis within Electrical & Electronics Development who has the drive and passion to contribute to Volvo buses profitability and who sees that the key to success is to develop the organization and its people in meeting future challenges.
Platform Development is a function within Global Product Development (GPD) at Volvo Buses. We are responsible for developing platform solutions within the areas of Chassis Body in white, Body, Powertrain and Electrical. The main sites are located in Sweden and Brazil.

The team is responsible for the development of all chassis related Electrical control units in close cooperation with Vehicle engineering at Group Trucks Technology. The size of the group is about 15 engineers.
Some important challenges for the group are to secure competence broadening, strengthen and increase the teamwork within and outside the organization and work to improve efficiency by simplifying the way of working together with Group Trucks Technology and internally.

Main tasks
You will play an important role to coach your team to deliver start cost, maintenance and advanced engineering projects according to quality, delivery, cost and feature targets.
You will define, agree, communicate and execute strategies and targets for the department, and also be part of the Electrical & Electronics Development management team, and report to Electrical & Electronics Development Department manager.
You will also have the responsibility to together with the team members work with their development to support future challenges contributing to Volvo Buses profitability.

Business oriented with a clear customer focus
Proven experience from leader positions
Proven experience from automotive development and within Embedded control systems or Electrical distribution
Focus on development of people, operations and product and taking advantage of the full diversity of the team
