Within this feature, Fuel Economy & Energy efficiency are key strategic contributors to the brand competitiveness and environmental impact. Average speed is also contributing to secure goods delivery spending as little time as possible on the road. Drivability is a strong asset to increase productivity in various applications such as Construction, Mining and Timber haulage keeping in mind safety. Finally, Range is a mandatory prerequisite for our electric drivelines.
Position description
As a Group Manager, your main task is to lead the group and deliver Driving performance feature & Aerodynamic verification from simulation to testing for current and future products such as Battery Electric Vehicle, Fuel Cells Electric Vehicle.
You are expected to drive change and with the focus to create a group where we actively work to continuously improve, build knowledge, understand customer needs and usage.
We want our group manager to see that the key to customer success is a passion for developing people, operations, and products. We expect you to lead both technology and people. We strongly believe this is necessary to meet future challenges that will contribute to Volvo Trucks profitability, our environment and most of all our customers success.
In this position you will be part of the Customer Feature Verification section management team.

We believe that you have:
Master of Science in Engineering
At least 5 years of experience from the automotive industry in verification area
At least 2 years of experience in leading people
Customer mindset
Pragmatic, Agile and open minded
English fluent
Swedish is an advantage
CE driving license is an advantage
Agile way of working knowledge and experience is an advantage
