Do you believe in that data as a product is one of the key ways of changing the way Scania is creaing value through sustainable solutions? Creating shorter feedbackloops and democratizing data? Connectivity at Scania is today about collecting CAN parameters, diagnostic readouts and extracting logging data. We are now looking for a group manager handling Data Readout today used for CAN data collection.
The group consists of 14 employees and 4 consultants. The group also cater for 4 satellite teams in India and Stockholm. The responsibility for the group is to create a data provisioning service to many consumers. The solutions we create moving forward are expected to be used as global solutions within TRATON.
What you will do
Your task is to work with both current solution and the future. You will do the work in cooperation with teams in the sites at US and Germany.
As a manager the main focus is to handle personnel related tasks and to work towards defined goals that you set up together with the connectivity flow management team. You will be the line manager of teams that are currently based in the "Connected Data and Functions" VCT, with flow management to drive the products according to our vision for the product. Your task is to make sure the prioritization and planning works for your group and that you have the setup needed to solve the work at hand.
You will be part of the application Connectivity management team, where I, as a section manager together with you 5 group managers, 1 product manager and 1 architect lead the work. We together strive to be the leading connectivity solution provider and succeed in the role as master data owner. My way of managing the teams is built on trust, value based leadership and that all hands are needed to solve the complex tasks we are faced upon.
Who you are
We are looking for an manager or engineer with strong leadership abilities. You have operational aspirations, with a let's do-it attitude, eager to inspire your teams and get control of function, quality and cost. You also have a software background, you are well familiar with agile system development, data management and you have a curious nature. You enjoy setting your own agenda and like to see people grow. You take responsibility for what you do and communicating in English and Swedish is easy for you.
