System Engineering is responsible for the top level design of the electrical system and we are now re-organising this section in order to further enhance our performance. The purpose of the re-organisation is to create new and determined groups with clear goals, as well as equipping them for the challenges and changes that lie ahead. Additionally, we aspire to have a high degree of collaboration between and within the groups, as we believe that job satisfaction and job efficacy only can be achieved by promoting a shared vision through collaborating team work.

About the role
As a group manager, your overall responsibility is to assure that the people reporting to you have the means to do a good job. Naturally, this requires more than just offering a fair pay. Education, motivation, premises, equipment, targets, roles, budgets, organization, conflict resolution, performance enhancement, recruitment and finding contractors are all ultimately essential parts of your role.

The team ensures appropriate measures for Functional Safety and Cybersecurity across the GTT organisation and acts as controller of these aspects. The team also work operative with FS and CS in projects, supporting system and function developers with the deliveries, direct with deliveries or as coaches. In addition, the team has high technical competence within the area and do not only contribute with process, but do also have relevant system competence and utilise the complete competence of the organisation.

The group size is aimed at 13 engineers, whereof 10 are regular employees and 3 are contractors. This is an area that we believe will also grow in the future.

Qualifications
• Master of Science within engineering (e.g. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science), or comparable work experience
• Worked as a group manager or have other leadership experience
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Experience from automotive development and embedded system development is a merit
