Group manager Closures, Door mechanism
The Door mechanism group is a part of the section Closures within Painted Body & Closure department. The Closure team develops the structures for doors and tailgate / bootlids, sealings and closure mechanisms.
The Door mechanism group develops the door mechanism i.e. door module, side door handles, latches, window regulator etc together with suppliers. Except for the part responsibility the PSS has also major function responsibility for locking/unlocking of doors & lids. The group is facing very exciting challenges for the future, meaning real opportunities to be creative and developing the team. We are looking for a manager that has good structure but also the ambition to make a change and show creativity.
As a group manager you will be a member of the management team of Closures, we work in close cooperation within the section but also with our network to ensure that the entire section is involved in our common deliveries. You will work in an environment that lacks prestige in order to focus on what 's best for the complete door / complete rear end. We belive that we are stronger as a team and we share the responsibility of developing the section and its coworkers.
We are looking for a personality that will bring in new ideas, thinking and competence in the management team of Closures in order to be well prepeared for the future.
Main/Key responsibilities
* Develop the group and it 's members
* Ensure todays and future competences on the group
* Lead and develop the groups way of working to meet future goals
* Ensure program deliveries in all phases, from Advanced Engineering to running changes
* Lead the development of new technologies together with the team
* Be a leader according to Aspired Culture
* Be a member of 93730 Closure management team
* Cross functional cooperation with manufacturing and purchase
Required qualifications
* University degree or equivalent in Product Development, Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, or other relevant area.
* Proven Leadership skills from program or line roles
* A great communicator and excellent program management skills.
* Good understanding of the Product Development processes.
* Experienced in proactive quality work.
* Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken.
* Drivers's license B.
