We are looking for a new group manager with passion to lead both technology and people. To develop technology for sustainable and pioneering electronic and software products and services for future transport solutions. At the same develop our people, make us to a great place for the people to grow.
Position Description
You will lead and develop a group responsible for developing functions, software and hardware in the area of climate control systems. The climate control software is developed internally in Volvo by the group.
You will be part of the Global Driver Electronics Management team, playing an important role and contributing to setting vision and strategy for Driver Electronics always working with continuous improvement and together deliver our products.
Main Responsibilities:
Act with clear sense of ownership for the climate control system, gain insight into our customer needs and identify opportunities that benefit the customer
Drive the technology strategies in the area and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations
Work cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives for the Volvo group
Form the team with appropriate and diverse mix of styles, perspectives, and experience. Establishes common objectives and a shared mindset. Empower others and foster an open dialogue and collaboration among the team
Lead the group's work on the agile journey and continuously work with improvement, and also take an active part of Driver Electronics continuously improvement of way of working

Qualifications
You have a Bachelor's or Master 's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent. We believe you have a strong background in software engineering development and a deep knowledge of team leading, supplier management and project management. Experience from leading software team in agile development is a merit.
