What is the job?
We are looking for a group manager for a new team that is responsible for governing the platform strategies for electrical and electronics architecture. We need to manage the platform roadmaps and secure that our platform enables our customer and business needs in our never-ending changing transport industry. We are managing new technology partly through engaging our organization in public-funded projects where we do the coordination from the Electrical and Electronics Platform (EEP).
You shall, of course, lead and develop the people in your group to be able to meet our stake holder's expectations. We will need to eliminate roadblocks to find ways forward to support our agile journey that also includes developing our processes, methods, and tools that are needed.

EEP is part of the ESA organization which governs and manages the EE Platform for trucks, its infrastructure, the related toolchain and a set of systems and functions. EEP is responsible to define, develop and maintain the full embedded system lifecycle as a platform from EE roadmap, change management to lean and agile EE portfolio and solution management.

You will work closely with your colleagues in the EEP management team where the organizational boundaries are less important versus getting the job done and supporting each other.
Required knowledge/experience
You have an MSc degree or equivalent
You are well experienced in agile ways of working
You have at least three years of experience in leading people from a line- or project management position
You have experience from the development of electrical systems preferably from the automotive industry
You are an excellent communicator and can encourage people and to set and show a clear direction
You act with fairness to direct reports but also can motivate teams towards challenging targets and manage stakeholders versus their expectations
You always strive to develop further in your role and show strength to manage risks in planning and decision making
You need to be both business and customer-oriented
Since the role will interact in an international environment, being fluent in both spoken and written English is something we require
