The Applied Mechanics Group serves all MR divisions with specialist competence in Solid Mechanics, Fatigue, Vibrations, Shock, Optimization, Applied Statistics, Numerical Simulations and Laboratory Testing.
We have approx. 10 people in the group and we are looking to extend this further in Örebro in addition to this job. We are using both external consultants and internal resources from CMTEC (Atlas Copco India) to be able to support our clients.
The group is in an expansion phase and we are currently defining how best to serve our clients in the most professional way. Your role will be to lead this strategic work and develop both the people and the organization in order to provide the highest customer value.
In addition to this you organize the daily work by handling customer requests, managing resources etc.If time permits there could also be time to perform analysis work of your own
You will take part in the Specialist Engineering Services management team.
Educational requirements and Knowledge
You have a MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering with some years of experience in mechanical analysis. You have proven leadership skills, preferably with some years of experience as manager.

You like to work with people, both with clients and the group members. You are goal oriented with a strong urge to accomplish results. You have a positive attitude, are pro active, tend to see solutions and strive for continues improvement. You are a true team player and you have an open attitude, so you include your team members thoughts and ideas in the process. You also have excellent communication skills both spoken and written. You are well structured and organized and have a strong sense of ownership, taking responsibility and leading until a successful conclusion.
