hela Sverige Volvo Cars Body Components is a sub-unit in the Manufacturing & Supply Chain IT organisation within the VCIT AMS organization (Application Management Services at Volvo Cars IT).
As the name implies the VCBC IT team is responsible for the maintenance & support of the application portfolio supporting the VCC Olofström plant with system solutions.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Group Manager who will be responsible for application and IT service deliveries at Manufacturing & Supply Chain IT within Volvo Cars Olofström. Our core business is to support and add value to the VCBC plant and secure zero lost production hours due to IT!
We are a team of about 15 IT professionals with the responsibility to deliver and maintain application services within Volvo Cars Manufacturing.
You will work in a governance organization of IT services to find synergies and increase efficiency, as well as for a group of ITAM's (IT Application Managers) working with local applications, and interact with fellow colleagues around the globe to support the business with e.g. local adaptations of core solutions.
The Volvo Cars IT organization in Olofström is the hub between production and IT, and main focus is to provide our customers with robust and lean IT.
You will lead a team who is supporting our internal customers with new development, changes and maintenance activities within the Information Technology area. The team is also deeply involved in future strategically decisions.
You will report to the VCBC IT Site Manager. The position is based in Olofström.

Main tasks:
Manage VCBC IT team with employees, consultants and bought services agreements in everyday operation
Manage Cost Center in terms of budgeting & follow-up
Manage customer relations with focus on operational key performance indicators
Drive continuous improvements in terms of making life less complicated for VCBC IT customers, team members, and other stake holders
Coach the Application Management IT department
Provide technical leadership and create high-level designs for IT environment aligned with the VCIT Strategy.
Manage local IT including life cycle planning, prioritization, monitoring, funding and governance.
Lead and plan the department activities
Responsibilities and contents:
Responsible for organizational management including resource planning, resource acquisition, employee development, employee skill development, employee satisfaction and workload management for the group.
Initiate and lead efficiency initiatives/projects.
Govern and develop disaster recovery routines.
Govern security and controls standards (e.g. ITPM, iSCRP, PAH, audit follow-up)
