The Machines
The machines, Drill Rigs, Bolting Rigs, Scaling Rigs, Loaders and Trucks, are used in underground mines and tunnel constructions all around the world, normally in very harsh environments with high demands on safety, reliability and productivity. They are available in various technology levels, from simple to fully automated with diesel and/or electric drive trains.
Job description
The Analysis Group serves URE R&D with specialist competence in Solid Mechanics, Fatigue, Optimization, Load Analysis and Numerical Simulation.
The group is in an expansion phase and we are currently defining how best to serve our clients in the most professional way. Your role will be to lead this strategic work and develop both the people and the organization in order to provide the highest customer value.
In addition to this you organize the daily work by handling customer requests, managing resources etc. If time permits there could also be time to perform analysis work of your own.
You will take part in the URE R&D Technology Platform management team. You will have full staff responsibility and you will manage and allocate the work in the Analysis group. You will also work with our engineering resources at CMTEC, India.
Skills & Knowledge
MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering (or equivalent knowledge) with some years of experience in mechanical analysis.
Strong leadership skills with ability to organize and structure work in a dynamic environment and in collaboration with colleagues.
Talent to coach, motivate and engage the employees.
Experience and competence in design of mobile machinery, as construction or mining machinery, is desirable; experience in project management is meritorious.
English; spoken and written.
Very good interpersonal skills and interested in group dynamics.
